Napoli is making significant progress in negotiations to sign Chelsea defender Benoît Badiashile. The central defender has confirmed his willingness to join the Italian side.

Currently, discussions are ongoing between the two clubs. It is most likely that the transfer will be arranged as a loan deal with an option to buy. Insiders suggest that Chelsea aims to secure a fee in the region of 20 to 23 million euros for the move.

Chelsea acquired Badiashile from Monaco in 2023 for 38 million euros. Last season, the French defender featured for only 1,070 minutes on the pitch.
