Lazio has submitted an offer to acquire Leicester City striker Lorenzo Hutchinson, according to Football Insider.
The young forward is highly valued at the King Power Stadium, and now one of the top Serie A clubs has expressed interest in him.
At just 18 years old, Hutchinson has yet to make his senior debut for Leicester but could be on the move from his hometown club following this proposal from Italy.
Leicester’s response to the offer remains unclear, but after the club’s relegation to the Championship, several first-team stars have been linked with potential exits.
Hutchinson is an England Under-18 international who has already impressed within Leicester’s youth setup in the East Midlands. Last season, he scored four goals and provided three assists in just 12 Premier League 2 appearances, while also netting 15 goals in 15 matches at the Under-18 Premier League level.
Regarded as one of Leicester’s brightest young prospects, the club now faces a decision whether to accept the offer and cash in or retain and continue developing the striker.
