Dallas' top assister strengthens a Western Conference top club
Guard Ryan Nembhard has agreed to sign a two-way contract with the Denver Nuggets.
Last season, the 23-year-old player appeared in 60 games for the Dallas Mavericks, starting in 27 of them. During the campaign, he was upgraded from a two-way contract to a standard NBA deal.
Nembhard averaged 6.6 points, 5.3 assists, and 2.2 rebounds over 19.5 minutes per game.
His 5.3 assists per game made him the top playmaker on the Mavericks roster, with Cooper Flagg ranking second at 4.5 assists per game.
Recently, Nembhard was traded to the Charlotte Hornets, but the Hornets subsequently waived him.
