Forward Davis Bertans has announced his retirement from the Latvian national team.
Bertans has represented Latvia for the past 15 years, playing a key role in helping the team qualify for three EuroBaskets (2011, 2017, 2025) and leading them to their first-ever appearance at the World Championship in 2023.
At 34 years old, Bertans now intends to focus on his club career with Dubai, where he averaged 8 points and 2.4 rebounds per game last EuroLeague season.
