Guard Marquese Navell has returned to the United States after his stint with Baskonia, signing a non-guaranteed contract with the New Orleans Pelicans.

Navell previously played in the NBA for the Toronto Raptors. Last season in the EuroLeague, the American averaged 5.7 points, 3 assists, and 1.1 rebounds over 14.4 minutes per game.

During the offseason, Baskonia decided not to extend Navell’s contract, prompting the player to return to the US and explore opportunities in the NBA.
