Amen Thompson and Osar Thompson, NBA players and twin brothers, have recently secured substantial contracts with their respective teams. Following Amen’s five-year, $200 million extension with the Houston Rockets, his twin Osar signed a five-year deal worth $155 million with the Detroit Pistons.
With these agreements, the Thompson brothers have become the first siblings in NBA history to each earn over $100 million.
Amen was selected as the fourth overall pick by Houston in the 2023 NBA Draft. Immediately after, Detroit chose Osar.
Both brothers are regarded as elite defenders, but Amen’s more confident offensive play is reflected in the difference between their contract amounts.
