The official Formula 1 website has released its rankings of the best drivers for the first half of the 2026 season, based on votes from experts and fellow racers.
Andrea Kimi Antonelli, who currently leads the overall standings by a 50-point margin over Ferrari’s Lewis Hamilton, topped the list with the highest number of points.
Max Verstappen of Red Bull secured second place in the rankings, while Hamilton completed the top three.
The full ranking of the top Formula 1 drivers for the 2026 season is as follows:
1. Andrea Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes)
2. Max Verstappen (Red Bull)
3. Lewis Hamilton (Ferrari)
4. Pierre Gasly (Alpine)
5. Liam Lawson (Racing Bulls)
6. George Russell (Mercedes)
7. Arvid Lindblad (Racing Bulls)
8. Lando Norris (McLaren)
9. Charles Leclerc (Ferrari)
10. Isaac Ajar (Red Bull)
It is worth noting that the Formula 1 championship will resume with the Dutch Grand Prix from August 21 to 23.
