Chelsea Avoids Points Deduction, Fined £10 Million After Appeal
Chelsea Football Club has successfully overturned the English Football Association’s decision to deduct six points from their league tally, according to the Daily Mail.
The London-based club was initially penalized for transfer irregularities that occurred during Roman Abramovich’s ownership.
Sources reveal that Chelsea appealed the ruling and won, resulting in the points deduction being rescinded. However, the club still faces a £10 million fine, which is not subject to appeal, along with a conditional ban on registering new players until the summer of 2027.
