Coventry City head coach Frank Lampard has identified four players he wishes to bring into the squad as the club returns to the Premier League. Among those targeted is Ukrainian winger Mykhailo Mudryk.
The club has already invested £86 million in new signings, with plans to spend an additional £92 million on further acquisitions. Coventry City is actively pursuing left-back Francisco Moura from Porto, midfielder Angel Gomes from Marseille, central defender Fikayo Tomori from AC Milan, and, notably, Mudryk. According to the Coventry Telegraph, Moura is reportedly keen to leave his current club, Gomes, who previously had a loan spell at Wolverhampton Wanderers, is interested in returning to English football, and Tomori has just one year left on his contract.
Regarding Mudryk, the source highlights that Lampard is eager to reunite with the winger, having worked with him previously at Chelsea and holding very positive memories of their time together. Progress on all four transfer targets is advancing at varying speeds.
