The Lithuanian national team has chosen its favorite candidate for the head coach position.
Dainius Adomaitis, the renowned Lithuanian coach, is set to return to the helm of the Lithuania national basketball team.
He is expected to be appointed as the head coach of the Lithuanian national team. All candidates running for the presidency of the Lithuanian Basketball Federation have agreed to offer him the position, and Adomaitis is prepared to accept it. The election for the new head of the Lithuanian Basketball Federation will take place in the coming weeks.
Previously, Adomaitis led the national team from 2017 to 2019. Over the last four seasons, he has been the head coach of Alvark Tokyo. In Europe, he has worked with clubs in Poland and Lithuania.
