Italy will play their second match in the UEFA Nations League today. Following a home defeat to Belgium, the Azzurri are set to face Turkey on their own turf.
Head coach Roberto Mancini has left ten players behind in Italy, including Nicolò Barella, Gianluca Mancini, and Diego Coppola, all of whom started in last week’s game against Belgium.
It is expected that Aston Villa defender Riccardo Ruggeri will make his debut for the national team, starting at left-back. Meanwhile, Francesco Bastoni will return to the starting lineup after serving a one-match suspension in the previous fixture against Belgium.
In midfield, Sandro Tonali and Davide Frattesi are likely to start as the central duo, while Nicolò Fagioli will compete with Issa Doumbia for the third midfield spot alongside them.
