Argentine playmaker Nicolás Laprovíttola delivered two outstanding performances during the Spanish Supercup with Joventut.
In the game against Basconia, the basketball star scored 27 points and provided 10 assists, while in the final against Barcelona, he tallied 31 points along with 7 assists.
Across these two matches, he sank 14 three-pointers, setting a new record for the tournament in its current format.
In the final, Nicolás nailed 9 three-pointers, establishing the tournament record for most successful threes in a single game.
Combining his own points and assists, he generated a total of 96 points for his team over the two games.
His 31-point output in the final ranks as the third highest single-game scoring performance in Spanish Supercup history, with only Fernando Martín (33) and Greg Stewart (32) surpassing him nearly four decades ago.
Laprovíttola became the first player in Joventut history to earn the Supercup MVP award.
The Argentine joined the Badalona-based club this summer after spending the previous five years with Barcelona. Between 2019 and 2021, he was a player for Real Madrid.
