Georgiy Sudakov started in the lineup for Benfica in their Portuguese Primeira Liga clash against Porto, but his involvement lasted only 38 minutes. The “Eagles” conceded the opening goal and then lost Clement Lenglet to a second yellow card, forcing the head coach to substitute the Ukrainian midfielder for Chircaty.
Unfortunately for Benfica, this change failed to turn the tide. Early in the second half, Bach equalized, but Porto responded with two quick goals. Froholdt and Hwang In-beom struck consecutively, securing a 3-1 victory for the home side.
