Center Torniqe Shengelia has officially left Barcelona to join Dubai, with a buyout fee of 1 million euros.
Shengelia was under contract with Barcelona until 2029 but chose to activate the buyout option to move to Dubai, a club recently appointed under former Barcelona head coach Javier Pascual during the offseason.
During his single season at Barcelona under Pascual’s leadership, Shengelia averaged 12.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.6 assists over 24.9 minutes per game in the EuroLeague.
