The Detroit Pistons have waived 32-year-old guard Gary Harris.
During the offseason, Harris had exercised his player option worth $3.8 million, but that decision did not secure his spot on the Pistons roster. He was traded to Detroit from the Milwaukee Bucks during the offseason.
Last season, Harris posted career-low averages with 2.7 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game. This was a significant drop compared to his best season in 2017-18, when he averaged 17.5 points and regularly scored in double digits throughout his 12-year NBA career.
