Karl-Anthony Towns, the center for the New York Knicks, has turned down several contract offers from the team worth between $45 million and $50 million per year, according to SNY.
Towns is set to earn $57 million in the 2026/27 season, with a player option for $61 million the following year. The Knicks have proposed a deal requiring significant financial concessions from the center, despite his eligibility for a maximum contract valued at $276 million over four years.
Having played a key role in securing the NBA title for the Knicks last season, Towns is open to staying in New York. However, it is clear that a new agreement will not be reached in the near future.
