“London Lions” are set to become the first British club in history to play a game against an NBA team.
The Lions will face the Portland Trail Blazers on October 12, 2026, at the Moda Center in Portland.
“The game against Portland represents a historic milestone for our club and for British basketball as a whole. We see this opportunity as recognition of the progress and ambitions of our organization,” said London Lions general manager Martinas Purlis.
