Niko-Basket announced the signing of an American guard
Mykolaiv’s Niko-Basket has secured the signing of 28-year-old American guard Michael Wright.
Wright began his professional career in Georgia before moving on to compete in the leagues of Albania and Azerbaijan.
During the 2025/26 season, the American played for the Azerbaijani club Guba, averaging 12.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game while shooting 36.3% from beyond the arc.
Niko-Basket will kick off the new Super League season on October 3 with a home fixture against Cherkasy Mavpy.
