Panathinaikos has secured the signing of forward Isaac Bonga with a three-year contract worth €10 million.
Previously, Bonga agreed on a buyout clause with Partizan for €700,000. Although Real Madrid showed serious interest in the 2023 World Cup winner with Germany, Panathinaikos presented a more attractive offer. The Greek club is managed by Željko Obradović, who previously worked with Bonga at Partizan.
The first two seasons of Bonga’s contract include an option for him to leave for the NBA, where the player still hopes to return.
