Tenerife’s point guard Patty Mills is set to continue his career with ASVEL.
Tony Parker, who recently took over as head coach of the French club, played a pivotal role in securing Mills’ transfer. The two share a history, having won the 2014 NBA championship together with the San Antonio Spurs, where Mills often stepped in for Parker at the point guard position.
Last season, the 37-year-old Mills averaged 18.1 points per game in the Spanish league and was instrumental in helping Tenerife reach the playoff semifinals, notably eliminating Real Madrid along the way.
