Toronto and Kyle Lowry have agreed on a one-day contract that will allow the veteran playmaker to officially retire with the club where he became a legend. The team will retire his No. 7 jersey.

Lowry played for the Raptors from 2012 to 2021. During the championship playoff run, the guard averaged 15.0 points and 6.6 assists over 37.5 minutes per game.
Kyle also had stints with Memphis, Houston, Miami, and Philadelphia. Last season, he appeared in just 14 games for the Sixers, averaging 1.2 points and 0.8 assists in 8 minutes per game.
