Spain national team head coach Luis de la Fuente has praised Jürgen Klopp as a top-class manager leading the Germany national team. However, the World Cup winner emphasized that there is no quick fix to the challenges Klopp faces.
“Klopp is a world-class coach, though unfortunately I have not yet had the chance to meet him in person. Of course, managing a club and managing a national team are very different roles. There are many distinctions he will need to adapt to.
Nevertheless, I believe Jürgen Klopp has the ability to build a world-class team with the best players. But that requires time. Everyone in football wants immediate success, but constantly changing managers is not the solution. Achieving success demands a clear philosophy, and it must be maintained even in the face of setbacks,” de la Fuente said following Klopp’s start with just one point from two matches.
