Victor Wembanyama believes he has the potential to surpass the highest-scoring performance ever recorded by an NBA player.
During a rapid-fire Q&A session with French content creator Rookicks, the San Antonio star was asked if he could score more than 100 points in a single game.
“I think so,” Wembanyama replied confidently.
The current record is held by Wilt Chamberlain, who famously scored 100 points in an NBA game back in March 1962.
Wembanyama was also asked which fellow French player he would like to bring to the Spurs.
“At first glance, I would say Evan Fournier,” he answered.
Additionally, Wembanyama left open the possibility of playing alongside his 20-year-old brother Oscar, suggesting that the French national team might be the first place where they become teammates.
