Dominik Szoboszlai, the captain of the Hungary national team, spoke to the press ahead of today’s UEFA Nations League match against Ukraine. He addressed the topic of the six new players included in the home side’s squad.
“We have a very close-knit group that makes it easy to integrate new players. We welcome everyone warmly and try to support the newcomers. Each player is here for a reason, and I hope they can prove their value and show that they want to stay. But they are not little kids,” Szoboszlai explained.
“I would like to reach League A, but I think that’s the goal for everyone. We will do everything possible in every match to achieve that, but we have to face some strong national teams. We will give our all on the pitch, but we will also need the fans’ support,” the Hungarian captain added.
