Žalgiris defender Nigel Williams-Goss will be sidelined for at least two weeks due to a hamstring tendon injury sustained during the first round of the EuroLeague regular season against Crvena Zvezda (83-77).
Before the injury, Williams-Goss had contributed 14 points, 6 assists, and achieved an efficiency rating of 14 in 25 minutes of play against Crvena Zvezda.
Žalgiris is anticipating the return of guard Saben Lee soon. Lee, who suffered an injury in a preseason match on September 6, is expected to partially offset the absence of Williams-Goss in the backcourt.
