Poland’s men’s national volleyball team secured the first quarterfinal spot at the 2026 European Volleyball Championship. In the opening playoff match held today, the reigning European champions comfortably defeated Latvia in straight sets, 3-0 (25-17, 25-16, 25-16).

In the quarterfinals, Poland will face the winner of the match between Germany and Bulgaria.

The Ukraine national team is scheduled to play their round of 16 match on Sunday, September 20. Their opponent will be Romania. Kickoff is set for 13:00 UTC.
