Manchester United and Arsenal are reportedly competing to sign the 20-year-old Brazilian forward Kauan Elias from Shakhtar Donetsk, according to TEAMtalk.
Both prestigious clubs are seriously considering a transfer after a series of standout performances. Scouts were particularly impressed by Elias’s perfect hat-trick in a Ukrainian Premier League match against Kudrivka, where he scored with a header, his left foot, and his right foot.
Shakhtar values the player at around £30 million. Interest has also been noted from Milan and Porto. Elias joined Shakhtar from Fluminense in February last year and is under contract until the end of 2029. He has already scored 15 goals in 49 appearances for Shakhtar.
Although no official bids have been made yet, the player’s representatives are reportedly receiving increasingly concrete signals of interest, according to the source.
