Atletico Madrid has officially confirmed the signing of Alejandro Grimaldo. The Bayer defender joined the Madrid club for a transfer fee of 20 million euros.

The personal contract with one of Europe’s most dangerous free-kick specialists runs until 2030.

Grimaldo emerged as one of the Bundesliga’s standout players this season, netting 14 goals and providing 12 assists from his position as a left-back.
