A major controversy has erupted in Spain following Julián Álvarez’s comments about his desire to change clubs in pursuit of his dream. While Barcelona watches eagerly, Atlético Madrid has reacted with fury. The Madrid club’s management openly accuses the Catalans of acting in bad faith and categorically refuses to sell their star player to them. According to Cadena COPE, Atlético is even prepared to keep the Argentine forward sidelined for an entire year rather than allow him to join the Blaugrana.
Instead, Atlético is actively pushing to transfer Álvarez to Paris Saint-Germain. The Spanish side is reportedly considering a swap deal involving Álvarez and PSG’s Gonzalo Ramos.
