Interestingly, in the most recent round, Barcelona defeated Sevilla 3-1. This echoes a historic encounter 85 years ago when Sevilla handed the Catalan side a much heavier 11-1 defeat—just one goal shy of Barcelona‘s worst-ever loss.
Additionally, Barcelona remains the only La Liga team this season to have maintained a perfect record, not dropping any points so far.
