American actor Brad Pitt delivered a tongue-in-cheek critique of football players’ tendency to simulate fouls during the World Cup, singling out Neymar in particular.
“I’m going to launch a course on simulation because these guys are just terrible at it. It’s one of the worst performances I’ve ever seen. I get that drawing fouls is part of the game’s cunning, but, wow, they really need serious help. And I’ll start with Neymar because, no matter how airborne he is on the pitch, he needs assistance. I’ll teach him how to sell a foul properly, how to do it subtly and not too often, so it all looks believable. I have a whole training program,” Pitt told Esquire.
The Hollywood star was frequently spotted in the stands during World Cup matches.
