The Sun journalist Jack Rosser has reported that following the early lifting of Mikhail Mudrik’s suspension, Chelsea have received numerous inquiries from other clubs.
According to the British reporter, three Premier League teams have already approached the London club, including Coventry under the management of Frank Lampard, along with three additional clubs from Europe. Mudrik had been sidelined for over a year and a half due to a positive test for meldonium, but both the FA and WADA have closed the case, allowing him to return to competitive action. Chelsea’s new head coach, Xabi Alonso, described him as a “special player,” though no final decision has been made regarding the 25-year-old’s future. The club is open to all options—retaining him, loaning him out, or selling him.
Rosser emphasizes that interest in the player emerged almost immediately after his case was resolved. This development provides Mudrik with a wide range of opportunities to continue his career, whether he remains at Chelsea or moves to another club during the upcoming transfer window, the journalist notes.
