On the 53rd minute, following a pass from Damsgaard, Højlund opened the scoring, with an unfortunate own goal by Ben Davis putting Denmark ahead.
The Danes extended their lead in the 66th minute when Isaksen netted the second goal.
Wales remain rooted at the bottom of the group with zero points, while Denmark have matched Norway on three points.
