Genoa Set to Sign Ukrainian International Artem Dovbyk on Loan
Genoa could feature a different Ukrainian international next season following the departure of Ruslan Malinovskyi, who left the Italian club this transfer window to join Turkish side Trabzonspor.
According to insider Gianluca Di Marzio, Roma is prepared to send Artem Dovbyk on loan to the Genoa squad.
Sources reveal that Genoa’s head coach, Daniele De Rossi, is personally trying to persuade Dovbyk to accept the move.
Meanwhile, media reports indicate that the 29-year-old Ukrainian striker is keen on returning to Spain, where he previously played for Girona. Both Betis and Atletico Madrid have expressed interest in the national team forward.
