Bayern Munich has confirmed that 33-year-old Harry Kane has won the European Golden Shoe for the 2025/2026 season. The English striker claimed the title of Europe’s top scorer for the second time in his career, succeeding Kylian Mbappé.
Back in May, Kane shared his thoughts on the achievement: “It’s a source of pride, as only Ronaldo and Messi have won this award more than twice.” During the Bundesliga campaign, Kane netted 36 goals, bringing his total tally for club and country to 73 goals. The award ceremony is scheduled for August 19 at the Bayern Munich museum.
“Harry Kane ranks among Bayern’s legendary forwards alongside Gerd Müller and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. He is a true leader and a guiding light for his teammates. We are proud to have him as part of the Bayern family,” said Bayern president Herbert Hainer.
