Football pundit Thierry Henry has revealed his personal pick for the breakout star of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America. His choice is Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise.
“My pick is Michael Olise, it’s that simple. We can talk about what he has done for Bayern, winning the domestic double, being named Player of the Season, his assists, and his goals.
He is a coach’s dream. I had the privilege of coaching him.
Olise doesn’t just play football — he thinks football. That’s what sets him apart from many other players in the world,” the Frenchman said.
Olise and the France national team will begin their World Cup campaign against Senegal on June 16.
