Has the transfer that seemed unlikely finally been completed? On Monday morning, insider accounts on X reported that Yan Diomande is moving to Real Madrid for €115 million.

Leipzig had agreed to sell the player several days ago but requested that the Madrid side keep the deal under wraps until a replacement for the Ivorian was secured.

Diomande has already agreed to a five-year contract with the Spanish club. The official announcement of the transfer is expected to be made this week.

With this signing, Diomande will become the sixth new addition to Mourinho’s squad, following the arrivals of Cucurella, Dumfries, Espi, Konate, and Bernardo Silva.
