In a preseason friendly, two of Europe’s top clubs, Manchester City and Inter, faced off in a tightly contested match.
The regular time ended in a 1-1 draw. Manchester City took the lead in the 14th minute when Divin Mubama scored following a cross from Semenyo on the flank. However, just over five minutes later, Inter’s defender Pavard leveled the score with a strike from the center of the penalty area after a layoff from Di Marco near the byline.
The winner was decided by a penalty shootout. Manchester City’s first three attempts, taken by Ait-Nouri, Khusanov, and Nico, were all missed, effectively handing Inter a 3-1 victory in the shootout.
