Former Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho is currently a free agent and has been maintaining his fitness at the training ground of amateur side Flixton, who compete in the tenth tier of English football. Rumors about a sensational transfer prompted an official statement from the modest club.
Flixton owner Christopher Garcia clarified the situation: “Jadon did not undergo a trial or engage in any negotiations. He simply used our facilities for a private training session. Sancho showed himself to be a true professional and a humble individual. Our doors are always open to him.”
Since leaving Manchester United, there has been no immediate rush for Sancho’s signature. Serious interest has been reported from Qatari club Al-Rayyan, with a potential move to Saudi Arabia also being considered.
