Experienced German midfielder Julian Brandt is set to continue his career in the Netherlands. The 32-year-old former Dortmund player has joined the Amsterdam club as a free agent, signing a long-term contract until 2029. This move marks Brandt’s first venture outside the Bundesliga.

Ajax’s sporting director Jordi Cruyff shared his thoughts on the signing on the club’s official website:

“Julian chose Ajax, and we are absolutely thrilled about that. Negotiations went on for several months, and he had options with other clubs.
