According to insider Fabrizio Romano, the German national team is set to appoint a new head coach in the near future. Julian Nagelsmann will be replaced by former Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp.
It is worth recalling that since January 2025, Klopp has held the position of global sporting director for the Red Bull clubs.
“Klopp has agreed to take charge of the German national team. The specifics of a long-term contract, future plans, and his departure from the Red Bull group are still being discussed, but he will definitely become Germany’s new head coach.
Red Bull had considered Oliver Glasner as Klopp’s replacement, but he has already signed a contract with Nottingham Forest,” Romano reported.
