Bayern Munich’s head coach, Vincent Kompany, shared his thoughts on the team’s upcoming tour in Asia:
“The first thing I told the players is that we have just arrived, and during this week we will also take part in promotional and media events.
Additionally, we have matches to play in another country. But this is preseason preparation; we need to work seriously and professionally, doing exactly the same as we would in Munich or anywhere else.
Our focus must remain sharp—that’s the most important thing. However, we are accustomed to this, and for most teams, it is a standard part of preseason training. So everything is fine,” Kompany assured.
Tomorrow, the Munich side will face South Korea’s Jeju in their first friendly match of the preseason.
