Liverpool Pursues PSG Wingers and Zabarni in Double Transfer Bid
Liverpool has initiated talks to acquire a second winger following the pursuit of Bradley Barcola in a double deal with French club Paris Saint-Germain.
The Reds have already secured the signings of Victor Munoz and Jeremy Jaque this summer but continue to strengthen their squad, particularly in attack.
Liverpool is making every effort to sign PSG and France star Bradley Barcola, whose value is estimated at £100 million.
However, according to RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins, the Reds are also keen on signing Barcola’s teammate Ibrahim M’Baye.
The 18-year-old right winger is reportedly interested in joining Liverpool and has already given his approval for the transfer.
Both clubs are now ready to start official negotiations, with Liverpool aiming to sign both Barcola and M’Baye.
M’Baye made his PSG debut in August 2024 and later became the youngest player to win the UEFA Super Cup at 17 years, 6 months, and 19 days old.
After representing France’s youth teams, M’Baye switched his nationality to Senegal and was part of their squad at the World Cup, where he became the youngest African goalscorer in the tournament’s history.
PSG reportedly values M’Baye at around £35 million.
Additionally, Liverpool is linked with another PSG player, Ukrainian central defender Illya Zabarnyi.
Journalist Dave Ockop reports that the Merseyside club has already held talks with the Ukrainian’s representatives and is hopeful of reaching an agreement.
If the deal goes through, Zabarnyi will reunite with Iraola after spending one and a half seasons together at Bournemouth. The 23-year-old moved to Bournemouth from Dynamo Kyiv in January 2023, a few months before the Spaniard joined the club.
