Winger Yan Diomande has joined RB Leipzig at their training camp in Austria. According to insider Florian Plettenberg, the player has fully recovered from a recent infection and is now training with the team at full capacity.
Meanwhile, negotiations between Real Madrid and RB Leipzig over the Ivorian’s transfer are ongoing and have reached an advanced stage. Reports indicate that the total transfer fee is expected to far exceed the initially estimated €120 million. Despite this progress, Diomande has yet to receive clearance to undergo a medical examination with the Madrid club.
Earlier media reports suggested that Real Madrid is eager to finalize the deal for the young talent, who impressed at the World Cup. It was also reported that the transfer could be completed before the end of this week.
