Bayern Munich’s sporting director Max Eberl outlined the team’s ambitions for the upcoming season:
“Last season, we delivered outstanding results. Our goal now is to replicate that success.
We must remember that nothing is guaranteed; achievements come from hard work and a clear strategy. Yes, we will likely start the season as title favorites.
I believe Borussia Dortmund, Leipzig, and Bayer Leverkusen—with their new coach and fresh players—will be strong competitors, although the transfer window is still open, so we cannot fully assess their squads yet. There will probably be one or two surprise teams as well.
We understand our status as favorites and aim to stay at the top and win the title again—that’s our objective for the new season. We set a high standard by securing the double last season. In the Champions League, we hope to play one more match,” Eberl said, hinting at a potential final appearance.
