French national team winger Michael Olise has matched a historic achievement while wearing the Les Bleus jersey. In the recent match against Turkey, he provided another assist, continuing his remarkable run.
With this, Michael became the first player since 1958 to deliver nine assists for the France national team within a single calendar year.
The longstanding record set by Raymond Kopa is likely to be broken, as Olise still has five more international matches to play this year.
It is worth recalling that during the summer, Michael set a new World Cup record by providing seven assists at the tournament.
