Good news for Zorya: one of the key players from last season’s squad, Nemanja Andjušić, remains with the team despite earlier reports suggesting their relationship had ended.
According to insider Igor Burbas, the 29-year-old Bosnian midfielder did express a desire to find a new club outside Ukraine. Zorya gave him the opportunity to seek a suitable offer, but Andjušić was ultimately unable to secure a move. As a result, he has returned to the club’s training camp and has resumed preparations with the team.
Andjušić joined Zorya in the summer of 2025 as a free agent, signing a contract that runs until June 30, 2028. He quickly established himself as a vital player under coach Viktor Skrypnyk. Last season, he featured in 22 matches, scoring 7 goals—the second-highest tally in the squad—and provided 4 assists.
