Paris Saint-Germain will be without their key winger Ashraf Hakimi for one of the biggest fixtures in the French league against Marseille today. The defender is sidelined with a right thigh injury.

The coaching staff had hoped the Moroccan international would recover in time for this crucial encounter. However, Hakimi missed the pre-match training session. In his place, Luis Enrique has called up 17-year-old David Boli to the squad.

Warren Zaire-Emery remains the leading candidate to start in Hakimi’s position.

It’s worth noting that both PSG and Marseille have had disappointing starts to the season. The Parisians sit only tenth with 5 points, while Marseille are in the relegation zone with just 3 points.

The match will take place at the Velodrome, with kickoff scheduled for 19:45 UTC.
