Raphinha Recovers Ahead of Schedule, Set to Feature Against Norway
Brazilian forward Rafinha is poised to feature in the Round of 16 World Cup clash against Norway. The Barcelona player sustained an injury during the match against Haiti and has been sidelined since. Contrary to initial medical assessments suggesting he would miss the crucial game in New Jersey, Rafinha has made rapid progress in his recovery. Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Brazil’s head coach Carlo Ancelotti expressed satisfaction with the key player’s rehabilitation pace.
“Rafinha is recovering very well. He’s not at full fitness yet, but he can remain on the bench and potentially play a few minutes or be useful in certain moments. He has recovered very quickly and very well, which makes us happy because Rafinha is very important for the team,” Ancelotti stated.
