Sevilla has officially confirmed the signing of 21-year-old goalkeeper Fran González from Real Madrid. The promising shot-stopper has committed to a long-term contract with the Andalusian club, extending until 2031.

The transfer fee was set at €1 million plus bonuses, covering 50% of the player’s economic rights. Real Madrid retained a buy-back option, allowing them to re-sign González during the next three transfer windows for a fixed fee ranging between €3 million and €5 million.

A product of Real Madrid’s youth system, Fran González made his first-team debut in the 2024/2025 season. He is now joining Sevilla’s training camp in the Netherlands as the club prepares for the upcoming La Liga campaign.
